Hossam Magdy Balaha
Biography
Hossam Magdy Balaha was born in Egypt in 1993. He is currently a Ph.D. student and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at the Bioengineering Department, Speed School of Engineering, University of Louisville, USA. He is an Assistant Lecturer with the Computers Engineering and Systems Department, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, a Senior Full Stack Laravel Web Developer, an AI Engineer, and a Freelancer. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Computers Engineering and Systems Department, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt. He made different courses on YouTube including web development and the Internet of Things (IoT). He built different systems including web and mobile applications. He had part in different projects and competitions related to his interests. His major research interests are Web Development, the IoT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning (DL), Computer Vision (CV), Cloud Computing, Soft Computing, Embedded Systems, and Robotics. He published different research concerning his research interests. He has served as a Reviewer in different journals such as the IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing (JAIHC), and Multimedia Tools and Applications (MTAP).

Hossam Magdy Balaha, born in Egypt in 1993, is a dedicated individual whose academic journey reflects a profound commitment to contributing meaningfully to the fields of Bioengineering, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at the Bioengineering Department, J.B. Speed School of Engineering, University of Louisville, USA, Hossam's academic endeavors extend to his role as an Assistant Lecturer at Mansoura University, Egypt.
As a GTA, Hossam actively engages in teaching and mentorship, focusing on pivotal topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Medical Image Processing. His role involves guiding and supervising students, overseeing numerous graduation projects, and nurturing the next generation of engineers and researchers. Additionally, as an Assistant Lecturer, he imparts knowledge in Computer Programming, Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia, and FPGA, broadening his impact on educational advancement.
