Biography

Hossam Magdy Balaha, born in Egypt in 1993, is a Ph.D. Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at the Bioengineering Department, Speed School of Engineering, University of Louisville (UofL), USA. He also serves as an Assistant Lecturer at the Computers Engineering and Systems Department, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt. In addition to his academic roles, he is a Senior Full Stack Laravel Web Developer, AI Engineer, and Freelancer. Hossam earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Computers Engineering and Systems Department at Mansoura University. He has created a range of educational courses on YouTube, covering topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques in digital histopathology and radiomics, web development, and the Internet of Things (IoT). His work includes the development of various web and mobile applications. He has actively contributed to numerous projects and competitions aligned with his fields of interest. Long Biography

Hossam Magdy Balaha, born in Egypt in 1993, is a dedicated scholar whose academic journey reflects his profound commitment to advancing the fields of Bioengineering, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at the Bioengineering Department, J.B. Speed School of Engineering, University of Louisville (UofL), USA. In addition, Hossam holds the position of Assistant Lecturer at Mansoura University, Egypt.

As a GTA, Hossam actively contributes to teaching and mentorship, focusing on key areas such as AI, Machine Learning (ML), Medical Image Analysis, Digital Histopathology, Radiomics, and Medical Image Processing. He supervises students and oversees graduation projects, fostering the development of future engineers and researchers. At Mansoura University, he teaches courses on Computer Programming, Computer Graphics, AI, Multimedia, and FPGA, broadening his impact on education.

Hossam's research contributions are substantial, with an H-Index of 21 and over 1,100 citations. Hossam earned his Master's degree in Computer Engineering and Control Systems from Mansoura University with a perfect GPA of 4.00/4.00. His research for this degree focused on developing a Deep Learning Framework Model for Arabic Handwritten Text Recognition. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computers and Systems Engineering from the same institution, demonstrating his consistent academic excellence.

In addition to his academic roles, Hossam is a Senior Full Stack Laravel Web Developer, AI Engineer, and Freelancer.
